Between July and August 2022, the "Rom(a)nor Interferences" research team composed of Florian Dumitrache, Petre Terescenco, Cătălin Stoian, Răzvan Petcu, Aurelia Tudor and Georgiana Onoiu, as well as assistant manager Rareș Dina, carried out a research campaign of land regarding Roma from Ialomita county. The team was completed by Vasile Ionescu, president of the Rome Academic Society. The following localities were targeted: Slobozia, Fetești Sat, Urziceni, Bora, Vlașca, Traian, Andrășești, Condești.
The main interlocutors were: Ion Bratu (boiler craftsman from Andrășești); Maria Stănescu (boiler worker, Vlașca); Ion Stănescu (boiler worker, Vlașca); Toma Ion (blacksmith, Traian), Anton Ion (sobar, Traian).
Among the significant aspects identified, we note: rural architecture within Roma communities; the popular port of the Roma, as well as peculiarities of the Caldara Roma.
