Mihai Stănescu is from Vlașca, Ialomita county, and is married to a Romanian woman from Călărași. Mihai was kind enough to show us the interior of his home, built 30 years ago, and told us a few words about the paintings in the house. Some of them represent scenes of activities in one's own family, others belong to the painter's imagination or are already consecrated, found most often on carpets placed on the wall above the bed.
